Picnic Area
We are planning a work picnic for about 250 people in August. Where should I start looking? I would prefer an area that had a covered shelter, as well as room to run around. Bathroom facilities are a must. We will have people coming from all over Madison, so anywhere that is semi-centrally located is fine.

You could do the Monona Terrace rooftop.
Yup I was going to post the same website but I wanted to add that there are other parks on the outskirts of Madison that won't be on there and will be on their respective municipality websites that are typically less expensive and easier to book if you're willing to have it outside of Madison. Middleton for example has some but I don't know if they can hold that many people.
There is an awesome park in Burke/Sun Prairie that has a shelter, really nice grounds with a playground, pond and bridge. I think it's on the corner of Reiner Rd & Nelson Rd. Drive by there some night and check it out.
