The good silver?
Okay, dumb domestic question for you all:
How do you care for silver/flatware?
...because we must be doing something wrong. We have this terrific Kate Spade for Lenox flatware that we registered for. We use it every day, and have tried washing it both in the dishwasher and by hand, and it's looking like crap!
It'll be clean, fresh from being washed, but will look all smudgey and dirty! My only thought is that maybe we need to polish it periodically???
Does anyone have any tips to share? Help!

yup - thats totally normal! you definitley need to polish flatware to keep it looking its best (we only use ours for entertaining and polish it about every other use). and i only handwash, dry extra carefully to avoid water spots, and store in a felt-lined box.
