Thank You Ladies for all your prayers!!!

Last Friday I posted about my grandma passing,it's been a long and painful week. But we've all been sticking together.

My dad, mom and brother flew out to Mexico that same Friday, (oyy I messed up my brothers boarding pass - but thats a whole different Oprah). They attended the funeral on Sat and returned home late Monday.

I went to see my parents yesterday and it was a bitter sweet moment when I was presented with one of my Grandma's rings.  My eyes filled with tears  as I accepted the ring my dad brought home for me.  His eyes and heart sunk as I slipped the ring on my ring finger!!

I've been battling with myself over not attending services for her.  And it made a very painful and tearful weekend for me!

I was happy to hear though that my parents will be flying back in April to attend a special service for my Grandma's 87th Birthday!!! She lived a full life! And I'm on the rush to get my passport so I may be able to attend that service!!

 My dad is still very depressed and keeps saying that he cant beleive he no longger has a mom, he didnt picture this day anytime soon. Its very hard to see my dad, the Macho being such a softie!

I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all your thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time!!!

I know you felt so bad for not being able to go.  I'm glad you are doing ok and that you were given a precious momento of hers.

((Hugs)) It's been over 6 years since I lost my grandmother and I still miss her like crazy. I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts and will keep my fingers crossed that you get to go back for the birthday service.
