So my little man has colic. He is 5 weeks old and he starts his crying at 6 pm and is up alll night until 7 am. Pediatrician said it should start to go away around 3 months, we are using gripe water from whole foods but not noticing anything really. Does anyne have any tips/advice?
Re: Colic :(
swaddle him.
we swaddled our daughter till she was about 10 months old. only reason we stopped is cause we couldnt wrap the blanket around her anymore.
but i promise it helped us a million our baby slept all night!
My pedi told me to put my little guy over my knee, belly down, and gentlely pat his back. I did that right before he ate and 15 minutes after. It helped. Also, you can take a swaddle blanket and wrap it around the belly, like a belt. Make sure that it slightly tight, just enough to apply a little pressure.
A home redmedy that I was given one teaspoon of chamomile tea to 4 oz of water.
