Does an OTC Amoxicillin exist?
We've had nasty bug floating around the office and it finally hit me. I'm miserable. Don't want to waste 4 hours at Urgent Care just for the Dr. to give me a prescription.
Any suggestions for something I can pick up at Longs?

According to my doctor... If it's a virus, there really isn't anything you can except treat the symptoms (Tylenol Cold, Dayquil, etc...) because viral bugs can't be treated w/ antibiotics. So even going to Urgent Care won't do much...unless you are coughing or need prescription strength decongestants or something.
If it is bacterial and the people you know who have gotten it have been responding to antibiotics, the only place to get them is the dr. I think that's because taking antibiotics when they are not necessary can really mess you up for when you actually need them, so only doctors can diagnose and give them out.
In my opinion any homeopathic remedy that you might find at CVS isn't going to do anything worth spending the money on them. Like Coldeez or Airborne or the likes... all a bunch of b.s. in my opinion
