Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

i wonder if we'll have any say in it? like, if we can email them and say "hey, i'm not throwing my hat in the ring but i'd really like to see so-and-so as the moderator."
interesting.
all the boards are getting them. really i think the idea is that it will allow the moderator to do things like delete offensive anti-gay posts (for example, which is very, very rare but has happened in the past) and other posts that violate the nest's rules without having to wait on the nest gods. the mods presumably are board regulars who are here often and can take care of those kinds of issues quickly.
