Any Valentine Day plans??
We are going to Disneyland!! Hubby just confirmed.. jeje.. What are you doing?
Re: Any Valentine Day plans??
I'm so bad. I refuse to celebrate this holiday.
We will be down in Houston for the long weekend.
Hmmmm, out of town on Valentine's weekend sounds like celebrating to me.
You know what, I should do the same thing! All I ever get is let down. H always give me this siht that "I can just go out and get whatever I want"...Can I at least get a card? I'm officially Anti-Valentines Day!
But I hope everyone else has a special day-stay dry well at least from the rain :P
I just have a real problem with the prices of everything being so hiked up and the quality of either the flowers or the dinner not even worth the price. I'd much rather have our money spent on a nice dinner at a time when the restaurants aren't bombarded with the hordes of people that come out to celebrate.
Before we had the kids, we used to celebrate the day before or after the 14th to avoid the LONG lines / waits, HIKED prices etc etc.
This weekend, we have nothing planned. Maybe we will exchange cards or buy a cake or something to celebrate the day at home with the kids. I have no babysitters available this weekend.
Oh, have fun at Disneyland!!
Actually, that sounds like a good idea, especially since my whole family has annual passes...hmmmm....
I always felt the same way. H and I never really did anything but we are trying to get out and do things together. So it happened that this Saturday we were both off and made plans for Disneyland since I've been wanting to go there since way before Christmas. I tell him that finally Hallmark got us and we are celebrating !
I'm sure we'll either be sitting at home in front of the tv or at my Grandma's house. We had a fabulous cruise last month (for no reason other than to get away) so there is no need....
Although I did see some guy at the store buying candles and rose scented glade. I thought that was sweet...lol
Someone else made plans for us, one of my high school pals is getting hitched! Yippy for dancing, open bar, and cake.
Drawback, it's up in Portland. When we flew out of Long Beach it was beautiful and sunny, when we landed? Cold and gray.
Oh well, I'm sure it will still be fun.
We had our date-day last Sunday: watched a show, then dinner. On 2/14 we don't have plans but we'll figure something out. Dh & I will prolly just exchange cards.
Have fun at Disneyland!
