S/O Poll: Least favorite US city to visit

I'd have to go with Vegas, followed very closely by Omaha (yea, we ended up there once and will never again).  Not a huge fan of LA, but I wouldn't say it's my least favorite.

I'm with you, njrunr3, not a fan of LA or Vegas.  I'd have throw in Tucson as well.  I've been there four times for work and I am not. a. fan.

Hey now...Omaha isnt that bad  :)  Its the most exciting city in Nebraska and they have the Nebraska Furniture Mart which is like the Disneyland of furniture stores!!  But for the most part, the whole state just kinda sucks! They do have some awesome steak restaurants down by the stockyards and the Zoo has got some cool exhibits.

Im not too fond of Kissimmee & Orlando, Florida.  Spent 3 months in the summer living there and hated it.  I do go back down there to go to Disneyworld for the Food & Wine Festival at EPCOT but thats the only thing that gets me to step foot in florida!  BLECH!

I harbour a huge dislike for Iowa City, Iowa.  Been there a few times and cannot figure out why the people that live there love it.  Its supposed to a be a college town but it lacks the feel of one and the U of Iowa campus is right smack in the middle of downtown.  I try to avoid it at all costs.

  • i can't really think of one.  but i've been to places where i'm so happy i don't live there!  maybe that counts?
  • Bangkok.  I LOVED Thailand but next time I would skip Bangkok and go directly to the islands or up North.

  • St. Louis
    St. is short for S--T.
  • I'd like to throw in Jacksonville as well.  Forgot about that one, but TerraandHarold's post referencing FL reminded me of JAX.
  • Oakland, Las Vegas,  pretty much anywhere I went in Alabama when I was visiting a friend in college there
  • I have never traveled anywhere that I knew I would not like...I can say that DC in July sucks...but I still loved the city.
  • You'd think Witchita Falls Texas would be my least favorite, but to be honest, it's just different than CA. Boring, but like SDSU, I don't think there's a place i don't like to visit!

Yep, we live here in Jax now and I hate it. Nothing to do and it's just getting old.

  • I would have to say Orlando too.

It's just to crowded for me and just wayyyy to much traffic that I like to deal with.

  • North San Juan, California.........where my hillbilly in-laws live!
