Need Bakery/Cake Help

Dh wants to get me a birthday cake and I would like find a bakery that makes a good Pink Champagne or Red Velvet cake.  The one bakery that I know of that does an awesome Pink Champagne cake is up in Upland.

Im a March baby   My bday is on the 10th and DH has class that day so he wants to do cake the sunday before my bday.

Try Elizabethan desserts in Encintas. I am not sure if they make a red velvet cake, but they have the best red velvet cupcakes I have ever had.

I dont know where in SD you are located, but Flour Power is awesome!!! They have 2 locations La Mesa and La Jolla.  They did our wedding cake (champagne with strawberries) and it was sooo good. Im sure they could do a pink champange cake.  I worked with Amanda in La Mesa and she is awesome!

I've heard the same thing about this place-apparently it's in the back of a garden shop or something? I've heard it's awesome, though!

A girlfriend of mine was raving about Cupcake Love in Solana Beach.  I saw they do Pink Champagne.  I know it's not a cake, but perhaps he can get a bunch of cupcakes?
