Poll: Favorite Book (pick just one)

I know this is hard. But you have to pick one.?

Re: Poll: Favorite Book (pick just one)

  • In Defense of Food: An Eater's Manifesto by Michael Pollan.  Makes you realize that most of today's "food" is lab-made crap and really has no food products in it and that Whole Foods is one of the worst things to happen to our environment.  And, you'll never drink skim milk again (read page 153 of the book).

  • Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand.  Ive read it probably 5 times.
  • Hmmmm. I am going to cheat and say the Collection by F Scott Fitzgerald. It has all the wonderful books in one box. Great Gatsby is the best.

And for non fiction, Eat Pray Love. It changed my life.

  • lloydbraun you gotta answer your own poll.  Stick out tongue  and it's a hard one!  hmmmm. i have a few, so i'll today i'll say alice sebold's the lovely bones.

  • This one is so hard!  East of Eden by John Steinbeck, if I have to pick just one. The Great Gatsby and Catcher in the Rye are a close second.
  • I'll have to go with The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks. I love all his books though so it was hard to pick just one.

And, i've heard about the Eat, Pray Love book. I've seen that in Target, maybe I'll pick that one up too.

  • I dont have just one!!  I love Gone with the wind and Illusions by Richard Bach equally.  But since I have to choose (and GWTW is my fav movie) I will go with Illusions by Richard Bach.  Its a very short read, maybe 100 pages but I really like it.  It is the one book that I will give people as a gift.
  • Yeah LB...answer your own poll! Stick out tongue
