it looks like a lot because there haven't been many votes, but it's actually only one person. still too much, in my opinion, but it is what it is.

That was hard b/c I wanted to choose two. I read here occassionally b/c it has really helped me understand all my aunt went through to have her 3 kids (3 rounds of IVF and eventually adopted from Guatemala before it was closed to SS families). I guess I don't post though b/c I feel like since I'm straight I would be infiltrating your world.
In addition, 10% of my students this year have same sex parents or one parent in a same sex relationship so I'm always looking to see how I can make their lives easier too. It's a hot topic in the education world as many of you may know with students who are "suspected" by their peers of being gay so I figure the mroe educated I am, the more I can help everyone at school understand it. Sorry that got long!

When I was pregnant I went through a phase in which I couldn't sleep at all- every night like clockwork I'd wake up at 3:00 am and couldn't fall back asleep until at least 6:00. I started visiting all the Nest boards, out of boredom- SSH, International Newlyweds, Military Newlyweds, etc. I had nothing else to do so I'd read every single board. After my insomnia passed I went back to just reading my regular boards but for some reason still check out SSH. I am straight, but I have a lot of respect for gay and lesbian people and I enjoy reading about what you are doing- getting married, having babies, etc.
I voted straight and not comfortable posting. My bff came out to me about 2.5 years ago and has been in an awesome relationship with an awesome woman ever since (actually before too - it just took coming out to me and other close friends to make her admit it to herself).
I love them both to death and love to read posts here to have more to offer as a friend.
