Valentine's Day plans?

Just wondering what everyone is doing for Valentine's Day tomorrow. Kat is coming home for the weekend *cheer* so we are doing family stuff. We may even take her to like Enchanted Rock or go trail riding.

we are going wine tasting for the day with another couple.  then maybe depending how we feel after the long day might go see caroline!

then sunday DH has a surprise for my since it is our 6 month since we are married.  i am also getting a new tattoo that day!

We have no idea. We usually don't do much anyway. Jason didn't even remember that V-day was this weekend until I mentioned it 2 days ago.

We went to Aldino's last night for dinner. Today we're working on the house all day and then I'm going to make a nice dinner tonight.?

Every year we go to dinner at this little place called Lorenzo's off of Fredricksburg and Medical and then to a movie. However, since we just adopted a fur baby two weeks ago we are going to come home in between so she's not home by herself for too long.

We really don't go overboard for Valentine's.  The way we look at it, we have 364 other days in the year to spoil each other!!  We went to the movies this afternoon, which was a treat for us.  I think the last movie we saw in the theatre was Narnia     Pathetic, huh??  We just really aren't sit around and watch a movie kind of a couple.  This evening we cooked a great dinner, had a bottle of wine and are watching the NBA All Star weekend. We are big basketball fans!  Hope everyone had a great day!

Our evening wound up including my parents coming by for dessert. I baked red velvet cake into a 3 tiered heart shaped cake. It was really cool. Then Franz, Kat and I took a long drive around to just calm down. Kat had to be up at 3 VA time to get to the airport to get here. I got up at 5ish to go judge a science fair. We are all beat to a pulp with exhaustion. She even came home with homework we have to have her finish...lots of fun...so she worked on that for 3 hours. All in all though just having her home with us this weekend is a present and a treat we don't begrudge or waste!

We decided to not do anything big. We didnt' even buy eachother cards or anything! I made a big dinner for us though. I wasn't feeling so great and passed out around 8. Yeah, I'm an awesome date!

We didn't do too much, either. We went to a late lunch with Jason's parents (it's their anniversary) and then saw a movie with them.
