Do you ever wish you had the D60 (or higher) for better megapixels? ?I'm still considering buying myself this stupid camera.
Re: Nikon D40 biotches
nope. i dig my d40 - it takes lovely pictures and the files are freaking huge as it is. more megapixels would just be silly unless you're trying to blow up life-size posters or something.
i dunno, you could be freaky like that.
How big are you enlarging your photos? Unless you're doing poster size prints or larger, more megapixels is probably not the solution. Most cameras have ten times the amount we actually end up using. Are you having a problem with noise or grainy photos?
I used to wish I had the D40x (i.e., what the D60 used to be called) because I didn't understand anything about megapixels. Now that I know a little bit more, I'm happy with my regular old D40. I have no need for the additional megapixels because I don't plan to blow anything up that big.
The Amazon deal is very good, even if you won't use all the stuff. At most camera specialty stores, you would only get the camera and the 18-55mm kit lens for that price.?
?
Yes! You should definitely look into Canon as well
I love my Rebel.?
