I b!tched out a CW in front of others and was happy I did. It was a long time coming and she completely deserved it for falsifying what I said when I approached other CW's regarding "grapegate"... she's lucky I didn't take her outside and whooped her a$$.
Moral of the story: don't steal my or anyone elses muthafcuking grapes!

I ripped into an undewriter today and went to management about his general d-bag behavior. I almost feel bad about it since we had a wonderful working relationship for so long but I can't work like this.
I blame the above situation for the fact I've done about an hour's worth of work today. I am over it.

I'm sad it only took one beer. BUT, to my defense, it was a large sam adams. so that makes me a little less of a wuss?
I'm officially old.
Yesterday was our annual office-wide training. All the young attorneys use this day to break out their most stylish non-business attire, work the room and to kiss up to all the supervisors they have had or will foreseeably have.
I used to do the same. But yesterday I threw on jeans and a random t-shirt, did no schmoozing and actually moved seats during an afternoon seminar because I wanted to be as far away from supervisors as possible.
Except for the actual staying-at-home part.
Perhaps if I were alone, I would feel more like being a SAHW. I always thought I would want this, so that I could use this time to voulenteer and start the steps to opening a non-profit. Maybe I still will after MIL leaves

I'm eyeing an over-priced stroller, mainly because it looks super cool.
I just returned the first DVD from Mad Men, season 1, to Netflix without ever watching it. I got it BEFORE my 4-month-old was born.
I got mad at DH for not taking any additional time off, like he promised, before my maternity leave ended. I know work has been busy and he wants to make sure he keeps his job in this crazy economy, but I told him he should have managed my expectations more and not made promises he couldn't keep.
