Disney's Princess Half Marathon / 5k
I remember awhile back there were quite a few girls here doing the couch to 5k program. Is anyone participating in Disney's Princess Half Marathon or 5k in March?
Re: Disney's Princess Half Marathon / 5k
I'm still wrapping up C25K, so I'm not sure I'll be ready in time for the Disney Princess 5K, but I do intend to sign up for some races in the near future.
I'm kind of thinking of doing the Winter Park Road Race two-mile run in March. Even though I think I'm almost ready to do a 5K, I thought it might be nice to do a shorter race for my first one and Park Ave. sounds like a nice place to race. Anyone doing that one?
If you are looking for a shorter race with a nice route, there is a 2 mile run in Windermere along the lakes the first weekend in April. I'm going to try to get my husband to go to that one since he's the runner of the family. I'm more of a fast walker. lol
Have fun at the WP race!
Woohoo! Good luck to you! Are you entering in the stroller division? What times are you shooting for?
I'm nervous as well! I just signed up and last night I was already having dreams that I showed up too late to the expo and couldn't pick up my packet. lol
I am not doing the stoller division. I wanted to try it by myself first before I attempted a 2 year old in the stroller.
today for the first time I did the 5k loop on the treadmill and did it in 41 minutes....I am not a fast runner so that worked for me!
How about u?
