Hi Ladies,
We have not been able to sell our townhome here in Wisconsin, so when we move we have decided to rent. It's just to risky for us to have two mortgages in this economy with one income.
Our desired area is the Northland area. I have been looking on websites such as rent.com and apartments.com, and found a couple complexes that look nice:
The Reserve @ Barry and Devling Place. Anyone know anything about these places?
Also, ideally I would like to rent a duplex/townhouse/house, but don't know where to start with that. Any suggestions? any direction anyone can give me would be just great. I appreciate how helpful you all have been. So welcoming to a newbie to KC! This is my first move out of state, so I am a bit nervous! Thanks!
Re: Rentals in the Northland Area
Hi Jenni!
The best place I have found to look for a place to rent, especially if you're not wanting an apartment, is on Craigslist. I have both found things to rent and rented out my property on Craigslist. It seems like everyone and their dog put their properties on there - both big companies and individual rentees.
I think The Reserve is very nice but I don't know anything about the Devling...
I'm in real estate and would be more than happy to help you out...or if you just need to know something about the KC area I'm here. Everyone on here, if you haven't already noticed, are great resources.
When do you plan on moving to KC? And what brings you here?
I have heard that the Reserve has gone through 2 or 3 management changes in the past few years. That's about all I know about it!
We loved the Ethan's when we lived there a few years ago!
