Yesterday Emma woke up feeling a bit yucky. This morning we went to the doctor and were given the option of going to the hospital for IV fluids (again) or going home and giving her water via a syringe in her mouth every hour.
I chose the IV fluids option because I knew she needed it. We are at Ingham and will hopefully go home tomorrow. Emma has both ears infected and RSV. She was fine all last week and now is all yucky! I am amazed at the amount of snot a 19 pounder can make.
Re: Sick :(
Emma and Joey should stop kissing at school!
I hope they both get better very soon!!!
I think Emma and Joey are kissing through their crib slats! Emma lost a few ounces too. She is doing better on fluids, but still not herself. She is still breastfeeding, just not as much as usual. I also tried giving her bananas this morning since they are her favorite and she only took a couple of bites. She is now getting a nasty cough and is trying to chew on her IV tubing.
Dear Emma, if you are going to be miserable and crabby, can you pop those two front teeth up top through? Mommy would like that, mmkay?!
