Hey Ladies,
I am visiting from TK and had some questions about Clarksville. We should be moving to TN soon and FI's family and Eastern part of the their company is based in Paris...(Boo) Nothing is wrong with Paris, but I am coming from SoCal about 40 min from LA so, I don't know that I can handle some place that small. I would LOVE to move to Nashville but depending on how often he has to go into the office that may wont work. So I think were aiming towards Clarky. How is Clarksville for entertainment? We like to go out, in our 20's, will be newlyweds, no kids. Any suggestions?
Re: Clarksville, TN
I've been to Rancho Cucamonga! (Sorry if I spelled that wrong!) My DH was stationed at Fort Irwin and the mall there was the closest good mall, so quite frequently, we'd make the 2 hour drive!
We live on the east side of Nashville right now. We'd toyed with the idea that for a future assignment, we could stay where we are and DH could drive up to Fort Campbell (the base there). . . but we realized that, for us, the drive was too much.
Good luck figuring out what you are going to do!
When Barstow is the nearest town, "the cuc" is damn nice! ) It was a big day out for us to go down to the mall there to shop and eat! I was a fan!
Yah, Barstow is a trip. ::shaking head::
To be honest, I don't know much about the neighborhoods and towns in Nashville. I picked the town where I rent because it is close to my family and the house was within our price range! If we were to buy in Nashville, I would want to be in the Green Hills area or West End. . . but beyond that, I am no help! Sorry!
Housing here will be more affordable than Rancho, that is for certain! I'd suggest finding a good realtor and going from there!
