Any good dentists in East Orlando?
I desperately need to go to the dentist, as I have a toothache that is now throbbing. Unfortunately, I do not have dental insurance (not offered through our employers), but I really need to make an appointment somewhere to get this fixed.
Do you have a good dentist to recommend in East Orlando? I am in Waterford Lakes. I will call first of course, but do you know by any chance their cost for a filling?
Thank you!
Re: Any good dentists in East Orlando?
I can't offer any good recs... but I can offer a recommendation of who I didn't like.
Husband and I went to Waterford Center Family Dentistry... the staff was nice and the facilities were good. But my husband went to get 5 teeth pulled and the doctor was so busy talking to his assistants that he forgot to give him novacaine on his right side of his mouth. He didn't realize that he'd forgotten until he went to pull dh's tooth out and he screamed in pain. The doctor didn't even really apologize....just said whoops and gave him the drugs. Not cool.
We haven't been back since.
I don't know of any dentists in your area, but definitely steer clear of Greenburg Dental Associates. I had recommendations from old coworkers, but they are absolutely horrible. The dentists are unprofessional, the equipment is outdated, etc.
If you want to travel a bit, I go to Dr. Julianna Lee near the MetroWest area and love it there! I hate dentists, but I've never experienced once twinge of pain at her office. Although without insurance, she may be quite pricey.
I use Dr. Rosello from University Dental off of University Blvd near UCF. They always get me in quick for emergencies and are super nice.

I just switched to Dr. Ashy (Elite Dentistry in Avalon Park). I've only been once but I liked him. The office is very clean and the staff was pleasant. DH has been going there for a few years. Here's the website: http://www.elitedentistry.com/
Good Luck!
My dentist is in Central Orlando off of Sand Lake Road on Turkey Lake Rd in the Sandlake Medical complex. His name is Dr. Maali, 407-355-0608
I have been to quite a few dentist around here and after looking for years I finally found a winner. My parents go to him, and now my husband and in-laws, along with a few coworkers I've recommended. Super personable, and extra nice to cry babies!

This is where DH and I go also. We have been going there for a couple years now and we like it. Dr Ashey is nice and his staff is great too.
Thank you ladies. I have started making phone calls. I did not know dental work would cost so much!
