FB Question

If you're on Facebook, do you add everyone who sends you a friend request?  I was reluctant to join FB because I really didn't want 'one more thing' but now I'm enjoying it.

Yesterday a work contact requested to add me. She's not a co-worker, rather someone I approach for sponsorship money come event time.  I've met her once in person and talked to her on the phone several times.  We email for business purposes only.  I don't know if I should add her.  I'm asking her for $ right now so part of me thinks I should.  But K really doesn't like her pictures on the web (being a Professor and all) so I've been careful about who I've 'friended'.

WWYD?

Re: FB Question

  • i don't. i had someone that i went to high school with (but was never friends with) add me, as well as someone else that i must admit i was glad to have lost contact with, and i didn't accept them.

i have separate groups set up as well, with restricted access so they can only see certain things. don't worry, none of you are in them.

I didn't realize I could make different settings for each group.  I was hoping that was a feature. If I can do that then I'll probably add her.

  • hmm, thats a tough call....it kinda depends on her personality and your relationship with her, but do you think she'd be understanding if you just explained your dilemma? send her an email saying that you recieved her FB request and you'd love to "friend" her, but based upon your wife's profession you have limited your FB to only family and close friends?

I know if it were me recieving that email, I'd completely understand and not think twice about it.
