I have been insane with coupons lately, lol
So far this week, with store specials and coupons I have saved:
$4 at target (I need to start shopping there again I forgot how cheap it was)
$28 at winndixie
$14 at Publix
My new rule, if I know I need something I reaserch it before I leave the house. Dj makes fun of me till I told him how much I saved in two days.
Anyone else couponing it up?
Re: My coupon frenzy
I saved about $18 at Publix yesterday (using a few coupons and taking advantage of their BOGO sales).
I really need to take a look at all the sites you ladies have recommended though.
Check out Walmart too - I did my grocery shopping at the Super Walmart near my house a few weeks ago and probably saved about $30 from what I would have spent at Publix. The bad thing is that the Publix is much closer so I end up going there instead of driving the extra little bit to Walmart.
Lol! I'm sooo a coupon addict too! I do the same thing I search coupons for what I need before I go. The site you found is really helpful, I've been using it. I also wait for the BOGO sales and stock up.
Lately, I've gotten into the whole CVS thing or what I consider the CVS game. I buy what is technically "free" with ecbs back and continue to roll them over. DH just laughs.
i used to work at publix (like 7 years ago), and if people gave me a stack of coupons, i would just scan them all, even if they hadn't bought the item... it takes way too long to check if the item is there or not... and there is this button you can press for coupons, and then you just enter the amount (without scanning it)... at least, there used to be... the only thing i would do is make sure that we actually sold the item in the end, they just stick all those coupons in a little bag, and without looking at them, stick them all in another box to be redeemed by the main vendors...
