Re: Jenn - magnetic paint
I wonder if it would help to talk to someone is paint. Not so much the folks at Home Depot or Lowes, but maybe a paint store like Sherman Williams or others.
I've emailed some questions to the lyt.com website, so I'll keep you posted.
What shows? Extreme makeover or similar? Maybe I'll look it up there too.
:-)
A friend of mine did the chalkboard paint in her first house. It worked really well. I've considered it in the preschool but I think it'll get banged up a ton and I don't know how well it would work long term. It would be great in our art room though ... maybe magentic and/or whiteboard would be better. My only concern is it does encourage writing on walls and that's usually considered a major no no. So it has to be explained many many many times that the only place you do it is in that one area otherwise you will find it all over your walls.
There are a lot of just plain wooden art easels for cheap that you could put this paint on too if you can't find what you're looking for at a reasonable price.
Jacob has a portable easel, his godfather got it for him @ christmas, I was saying how I wanted to get J one. ?It really is a god send and it is light and portable. I think he got it @ Toys R us for around $20.?
Thanks Michelle!
Funny about the uniforms, I drove by another one and fondly thought of you. LOL!
