Preschool Recs - O'Fallon, LSL, Wentzville

Can anyone recommend a good preschool in the O'fallon, LSL, or Wentzville areas?  My son turned 2 in January, and I'm looking to enroll him in a 2 day/week program in the fall.  Thanks!!

  • I have no idea about preschools but saw you live in that area and it made me smile, we're moving to LSL in a month!!!  I know there's at least 1 other Nestie that lives close to this area :-)
  • http://www.themorganschool.com/ The Morgan School is extreamly nice, but pricey and I think the owner is only doing PT until they are full.  It is a new facility.

Bright Start on Wyndgate is nice, I liked the facility.

The ABC Day Care on Technology I thought the rooms were a little small, but it seemed ok.

DD goes to an in-home near our work, but I plan to move her to a center this summer.

  • The Goddard School at Winghaven is nice, I have friends who take their adopted daughter there.  She doesn't speak a lot of english and has some learning disabilities and they have had great success there.  They are also building another location in Wentzville.

I have a friend that works at the Little Guppy Preschool near 70 and Bryan Rd.  She likes it there a lot and takes both her kids to work with her.

  • mrstommyp - when I looked into daycare for DD the Goddard School had a waitlist of 6 months.  Do you know if that's typical?
  • Thanks ladies!  Pil - Congratulations on your new house.  We lived in LSL, and moved to Wentzville 2 years ago, and LOVE the area!  I'm sure you'll be happy there!

I think it depends on the age.  The younger the child, the longer the waitlist.  Since there are a couple of Goddard's in the area too it probably depends on the location too.

We registered early (like 6 months) because I already knew that was where I wanted to send our DC.  I had no problem getting a spot.
