I did find out.
Today's my 30th bday. Last night we were driving to the arclight to see a movie and dh's cell rang. He didn't have his bluetooth headset on so he told me to answer it. Here it was the restaurant calling to confirm our reservation!! He was so upset!!
Oh well.
Now that I know where he was planning to take me, i've been feeling guilty all day. Its a very expensive restaurant and he knows i feel guilty spending that much money on food. That being said, we've never been anywhere this fancy before. He said it was my bday gift. I'm excited and can't wait to go, but then at the same time, i feel like saying.. we should go somewhere more practical.
Anyway, mia... its called providence its on melrose. Supposedly the #1 seafood restaurant in la. The portions look super tiny and fancy. Yes, i peaked and looked at the website.

You should not feel guilty at all, you have been through so much & it is for a big milestone, your 30th. ?We spent about $350-$400 on my bday this year, between dinner & drinks & all it was for my 35th, & to celebrate I got my license. ?I say as long as it isn't a?regular?occurrence?it is OK to splurge now & then. ?Your poor Dh having his surprise?spoiled! ?But... he asked you to answer the phone.
