i just feel terrible now, cause i realized that the last performance is on my best friend's wedding day, which i am singing at! thank god at least he ceremony is at 4pm, and the reception starts at 5:30, so i can at least go for a while. DH is probably going to stay with my mom and enjoy the rest of the reception... hopefully our call time is 8pm, so i have more time at the reception as well...

  • Congratsssssss!!!!!!!!!! I wanna go see you. I was listening to your myspace page the other day. You are one talented lady!!!!!!!

ps- Im going to start singing at wedding ceremonies again for some extra cash due to my recent crisis. Any reccomendations/tips would be appreciated! I've always done it on word of mouth.

Jenny: I've always kind of done it by word of mouth, too... I am singing at a friend's Wedding on May 16th, and a Knottie on June 20th (knotties: cristyandmichael). In the past, when I have sung at one, someone will hear me, and want me for theirs, or their daughters, or family member/friend, etc... There is a website you can join called GigMasters, or you can also post an ad on Craig's List. The way it worked out with the other Knottie was that she posted about seaking a singer, and I asked her to e-mail me, since I didn't want to blast all over the knot about singing at her wedding, and seem like a vendor...

Small part of not, I'm very excited...

  • That is amazing. I wish I was down there to see it.
