i ate one of my new braces brakets!!
wow...one week with braces and i'm already having mishaps. i was
eating dinner tonight and took a bite of very thick crust bread. i
noticed that it was really hard at one point and thought i might have
chipped my tooth. well, i got home and noticed that the very last
molar didn't have a bracket anymore...they hadn't connected any of my
last molars to the wires because of spacing, etc, but i wasn't
expecting to be able to just break it off. and i ate it!! do you
think that my cost of getting braces covers missing brackets?? i can't
believe i have a metal bracket floating around my intestines right
now.
Re: i ate one of my new braces brakets!!
Oh No! That horrible! You wouldn't think that it would just break off like that, but didn't they give you a list of things NOT to eat?
I hope it comes out and doesn't cause any problems for you. GL

Mine would pop off whenever I would get the urge to eat something my dr told me NOT to eat =/ -- then again, mine were connected to the wire by that point, so I didn't have any floaters
I'm sure the dr's seen it before, so it shouldn't be anything to be too worried about -- and to answer your Q: yes, i do think it's covered. GL!
Oh no. Im sorry chica. Im sure you will be fine.
