Dear CC company:

You have my address as my UK address. I have called repeatedly and had you flag my file as living in the UK. Yet you insist on cutting off my card about once every 6 weeks or so because ::shocker:: there are charges from the UK. Well no sh!t sherlock. Thats why my billing address is in London.

But now you've taken it too far. its one thing to freeze my account. But now you CANCELED it and are re-issuing me a new card? So...I'm without a card for over a week while you ship it to LONDON even though you are convinced all charges in London must be fraudulent. brilliant, I tell you.

grrrr.

Re: Dear CC company:

  • I am right there with you. No matter how explicit I am about my travel plans my CC company always ends up cutting off my card while I'm overseas at really convenient times...like when I'm trying to check out of a hotel with 3 weeks worth of charges!

I can't believe that they don't understand you are LIVING there.

Should we place bets?  My money is on Capital One.

  • sadly, its USAA. I expected more from them.

DH has capital one, and shockingly, they have been great.

    That's mine :)

I won't drop them though because they charge no fee on foreign transactions.
