My dog won't go potty outside in the rain

I don't know what wrong with her and how she got so prissy. Ever since it started raining I'm finding poop and pee everywhere. I got a little frustrated and took the easy way out and put her in diapers to slove the peeing on my new carpet but I still had to clean up the poop. It's been so long since we've had a problem with her. I'm glad the rain will be gone for the next few days but I would like a better solution to my problem. Does anyone have any suggestions?

My dog does the same thing, which means I have to put her on a leash, get an umbrella and go out there with her.  It sucks...but it is the only thing that works.

Ditto to Mindy. My dog won't go out in the rain, so I put him on a leash and walk him in the rain.  We both get wet and I keep a towel by the front door.  The plus is that he generally goes VERY quickly when it's raining.

We had to train Mr P to do the same thing, leash and the umbrella and a lot of praise when he was done.  Now he'll go on his own, but you can tell he holds it as long as possible.  It's kind of funny to watch him find the CLOSEST spot of grass to pee and poop on.

My dog will step outside into our hall (at our apt) and see that its raining and try running back inside, but once i pick her up and set her in the rain she gets the idea and goes very quickly.  Sometimes i have to keep putting her out there, since she tries to run back to the apt, but after a few tries she goes. GL
