Need cooking help quick!

In a nutshell, trying to make healthy version of white chicken chili. tested it and HATE the taste of the white pepper from World Market I added. ere forgo healthiness and added cheese & milk, then more chili powder, chicken broth, and even tabasco, but can still taste the nasty white pepper. Any suggestions on what to add to cut that awful taste? DH and DD will be home soon and I know they won't like it either and don't want to have to scrap this....TIA

  • I hope you managed to mask the taste of the pepper. I thought about it and had no advice to offer...if chili powder didn't do it, I had no clue what might work.
  • I have no idea - I am not a huge fan of the flavor of white pepper. 

    Next time you make white chicken chili - use monica's (futuremrswagner) recipe - it uses gravy packets but other than that - it's really pretty healthful

  • I hope you found something that worked!  Ditto Sarah - use Monica's recipe.  It's delish!
  • Was able to save it enough to eat it with fritos, but only after an extensive google search and adding: lime juice, grilling seasoning, dijon mustard, and balsamic vinegar. I know that sounds terrible, but it worked, just made it more like white barbecue rather than chili. Next time I am going with Monica's recipe! Thanks so much for the suggestions!
