Anything exciting going on?  We're having some friends over for dinner who just got engaged, but other than that, nothing too exciting.  What are you girls up to?

I'm heading up to LA for my brother's bar mitzvah and my husband will be flying in from Georgia for the weekend so he can attend.  It's going to be an insanely hectic and loud weekend, but I'm really looking forward to it.  Have fun at your dinner!

My MIL has been bugging us for a month to drive up to Vista to visit, so we're finally going on Saturday. Sunday we have a standing commitment leading a group at church, so this weekend is pretty much shot!

DH and I were supposed to be going on a real date this weekend, wine and dine, roses, show, etc. but I have had the stomach flu since Wed. So I think that plan is off.

I plan to snuggle with myself on the couch and drink chiken broth and eat crackers. I am starting to think this is food poisioning and not just a bug. Yayyyy me!

One of my DH's groomsmen is coming to stay with us with his girlfriend this weekend.  We haven't seen him in a long time so we are excited.  When we are home we will be spending time with our new cat.

DH is out of town for business as of today so I am having friends over for a girls movie night tonight!  That will pretty much resulted in tomorrow being stuck on the couch feeling like crap, but it will be fun!!  Sunday I get to get ready to go out of town myself for work, maybe add a hike in there, and maybe go to Church in the evening if I can drag myself out of my lazy-coma :-)

Cleaning!  I know, not the most exciting thing but definitely needed.

Getting my hair cut and colored    And the typical boring weekend things- laundry, trash, dishes, and possibly tackle one of the closets.  Oh and play around with my Wii.  Have to retrieve DH on sunday night so I will probably miss the finish of the big bike race...the finish line is right down the street from me.

It's a somewhat quiet weekend but we went to breakfast and then did a hike this morning. Tonight is a bday dinner for my Dad and then another hike tomorrow. Gotta shed some lbs before Cabo next weekend!
