back from the daycare
She was great. There was only 2 kids there today (since it is school vacation week) but the most she has in 6. Her home was clean and toys well stocked. She uses a play room and her kitchen with a bathroom right off the kitchen. She serves 2 snacks and lunch to the kids (vegetarian). They go out every day if the weather is ok. and she is across the street from a really nice park. She also takes the kids on walks around town. She has an opening for an infant in aug. but would save my spot until january which is really nice. As long as we do 25 hour/week the price is 8.50/hr. So we would prob do 4 days a week (if my mom will do one day). S is having sticker shock but I think that is really reasonable after looking at the prices of different places around. We wouldn't have to pay for the summer which is perfect! Well, it is a really good start to the search and she is going to send us some references today so I can contact them. Also she is really close to school and our apt. which is great. I would feel comfortable sending my child to her which is a good thing. Now I just have to see if mom will do one day which would be really helpful.
