Vent about the parents at DS school LONG
My son goes to a private school. The school rents the school grounds from the church that is located on the grounds. The church is having financal issues and was deemed in crisis and they had to sell off the church property.
Another very well known school jumped on the chance to buy the school and the property. The new school wants to combined the two schools which I think is a great idea. My son will continue to go to the same school and I know they have a wonderful program and have great test scores they are accredited. Just like the school he is attending now.
Well a group of parents are all up in arms fighting this. They have gone as far as starting their own school. The say they want to keep the history of the school alive.blah blah blah. They have gone as far as offered the current teachers contracts, held meeting to get parents on their side. They stand outside the school and hand out flyers about when their next meetings. The school year is almost half over and they don't even have a site of where their school will be. How are they going to be able to get this school up in running in time?
I wish they can see what they are doing to kids in my opinon. My son sees this nonsense and thinks he wants to go to the parents school because the new buyers of his school are bad. I don't get it. Why am I going to give these parents thousands of dollars and trust them with my childs education. Who are they?
