Just got back from Joy's office(In the Black Accounting). She is great. A little eccentric, but seems to be good at taxes. She is an ex-IRS agent for crying out loud. She helped us identify large purchases that we made when moving last year and told us we could write off the sales tax we paid... something turbo tax wouldn't have helped us with b/c we didn't know about that deduction. I've never had my taxes done by someone before, so i don't have any other prices to compare it to, but it was about 125$ for everything. She looked over last years returns for us, and went over the difference last year vs. this year b/c we actually had to pay. All in all i though she was great, and i'm glad i had a real person do them, as opposed to a "program". And i feel more confident that everything is legit and correct, and if we get audited, i am more confident knowing we won't have to pay any back taxes.
I live in the same neighborhood as Joy, You go down MJ road to Central Pike, turn left onto Central Pike, and Windy Road is about a mile down, past the Church of Christ on the right hand side. Most people around here call our neighborhood Tinnel Station. Where are you in MJ?
