Cville area teachers??
Hellooooo out there! It's looking like DH and I may be finally moving back to Cville this summer and I know the teaching market is tight right now, so I was wondering if anyone has heard any rumors about districts that may actually be hiring? I realize it's going to be a rough year to get into a district but I still have to give it my best!
So far I've done interviews with Louisa, Cville, and spoken with Albemarle and Greene. I'm currently teaching in Hampton Roads.

My hubby and our g ood firend both teaching in the charlottesville area. My hubby teaches in Orange County (and his elem school is going to have some openings), they are cutting down on hiring next year, but it is still worth trying. Depending on what area you live in it won't be that bad of a commute. Also try Fluvanna county.

A big belated thank you to those who replied! I have officially submitted my applications to Cville and Albemarle and will hopefully get to schedule a screening interview with Albemarle over my spring break. (I met with a Cville representative at the UVA career fair.) Next step- every other district in the area! :-)
