I am totally late with this post but did you go to the wildlife center event at WorkPlay last weekend?  I had planned on going with my husband to set up but I was still in post-surgery lala land.  I hope it was a successful event.

  • Yup! Had lots of fun and LOTS of chocolate.  A lot of people didn't recognize me b/c I had a dress on and not the usual jeans and green logo shirt.   I think it was really successful.  Lots of people commented on how much they liked the venue over B&A Warehouse.  Thanks for asking.  Bummer you couldn't make it out.  Hope you're recovering well! And there's always next year.

  • When my DH told me that he had been contacted about providing an ice sculpture for the event I told him "of course you will do one for them".  I talked with a girl named Amy from there before my "accident" and she was very nice and fun to deal with.  I think she is going to send a picture of the ice to my DH so I can see the finished product.  I'm glad the event was a success.  We always have fun doing ice for worthwhile causes.
