Speaking of cable... Anyone have Directv?
We're thinking of switching from Brighthouse but wanted to hear people's experiences in Orlando. Does your tv go fuzzy during storms and rain?Do you like Directv?
Thanks for any input!
Re: Speaking of cable... Anyone have Directv?
we recently switched from brighthouse to direct tv.
A MILLION times better. what a difference! our customer service was great! we even got a few extra discounts because my husband is a firefighter. also- there are a TON more HD channels- and when you have a 60inch tv it really makes a difference. we love it!
and it was cheaper then brighthouse! no problems with it raining/nothing ever goes fuzzy!
We never had Brighthouse, so I can't really compare, but we've had Directv for a couple years and like it pretty well.
The only time we have a signal issue is if something physically gets up against the dish. (Our dish is in amongst the bushes, so sometimes a branch gets up in there and we have to move it or cut it). If the dish was out in an open space, I don't think we'd have any issues at all.
I used to have DirectTV and we would lose our signal every single time it rained, hard or not. It was very frustrating.
They do have a very nice amount of HD channels, and their customer service is very good compared to the competition.
I just switched to AT&T Uverse (fiber optic technology), and so far I am not impressed.
