Ok girls, I've been lurking out for a while, but I am really wanting to work from home...I found a wedding business for sale on craigslist for not much money.. but I'm trying to talk my DH into letting me do, how can I convince him??

research the business thoroughly. Why are they selling it? (Because they're bored/moving? Or because it's not making money?) 

Be sure you have a solid business plan and that you will be able to recoup your investment, plus make enough $$ to make up for whatever income you're losing by (I presume) quitting a job outside the home.

If you've done your homework, convincing DH shouldn't be difficult.

Not to rain on your parade, but I think there's already a similar business/website up and running in St. Louis--might make your job a little more difficult if you're trying to make money through advertising.  Check out www.stlwed.com.

I was going to post the same thing. www.stlwed.com is EXTREMELY popular here in STL, so I think that would probably reduce what you could do with this, as it is pretty similar.
