We just signed up, b/c it's cheaper than cable. So we scraped the cable, and Netflix it is.
So ladies, recommend your favorites to us. We are open for anything.

Re: Netflix
We're thinking about getting rid of our cable too, because:
1) Most of the shows we plan ahead to watch are on the free channels (30 Rock, How I Met Your Mother, etc.)
2) Other shows we would plan ahead to watch are on the premium channels, which we don't get anyway (Weeds, Big Love, etc.)
3) Besides SciFi and Comedy Central, I pretty much only watch cable when I'm wasting time. I love Iron Chef and MythBusters, but I only remember to watch them when I'm idly flipping around. ?
4) We've become Netflix converts and spend quite a bit of our TV time watching older shows on DVD! We just finished all 9 seasons of The X-Files over the course of 13 months, and we're starting Dexter next. After that, Torchwood, Californication and Arrested Development. At some point we'll watch Mad Men and The Wire too. If you've never seen The West Wing or Buffy the Vampire Slayer, definitely get those, and Sports Night. ?
Well I don't have Netflix but if you're looking for some series I recommend:
Dead Like Me
Coupling
