Tear jerker

What movie can you not get through without shedding a tear?

I always cry when Shelby dies in Steel Magnolias

Re: Tear jerker

  • I cry at almost anything....A League of their Own, Chronicles of Narnia, Father of the Bride (1 and 2!), most of the Harry Potters, most animated Disney movies, Sliding Doors, The Return of the King, Parenthood, Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, Rudy, Shakespeare in Love...many, many more.

  • This list could go on and on for me!

    Steel Magnolias
Stepmom--when she calls the kids into the room to give them their gifts
    Armageddon
Forrest Gump--when he is talking to Jenny's grave
    Terms of Endearment
    A Walk to Remember
    The Notebook
    My Girl
    Up Close and Personal

  • The usual tearjerkers Steel Magnolias, Notebook, Lion King anything like that. I especially cry whenever a pet gets lost or dies.  Those are the worst.

  • Moulin Rouge ?(it's my all time favorite)

Finding Neverland and?Brokeback Mountain are both heartbreaking as well.

I only saw that movie once, but I do remember it made my cry like 9 times, lol.

Pretty much the same for me... Forrest Gump, Big Fish, and most recently, Gran Torino, lord, lol. Weep.

  • The Notebook
    PS I Love You

  • Definitely Steel Magnolias.  Aside from that, anything can trigger my emotions!  Early in our relationship, DH always thought I was crazy for crying during a tv show or movie. Now he says, "it's okay. do you need a tissue?"  LOL
