I'm annoyed with chauvanistic old men who can't take a female business person seriously. I mean, I'm a happily married 30 year old professional, dude. What is so hard to understand? And, especially, what the hell makes you think it is OK (especially in a professional setting) to complement me on my ass?
(note- this was NOT a coworker, I really don't think that would happen at my workplace... but it did happen at a professional reception. All I did was half smile, thank him and then walk away... but even that was a bit awkward.)

Yesterday I was beyond pissed off about the general lack of concern for animals. I had a redneck near Bloomington trying to sell 3 week old puppies (illegal in Indiana) and when I contacted her about it, she gave me the story and said that they were going to drown them in their lake by the evening if someone didn't pick them up. I called the Brown County HS and they could take them. How effin' hard is it to make a phone call? Oh yeah, get your g.d. dog spayed and don't tie her outside when she's in heat! Someone else was then trying to figure out why their female pittie was acting aggressive while in heat. Just my guess based on my own hormonal chemistry, but I act like a b!tch when I'm menstrating too. I wonder where the term comes from?
I'm sick of being jobless. I want to move to where there are more opportunities in my field, but I pretty much shot myself in the foot with the St. Louis experience and it pisses me off
I'm overwhelmed with school right now. I've been able to handle grad stuff just fine, but the thought of actually writing my thesis (due in April) totally sends me into a panic attack.
yeah, unless you live downtown (and even then!) you could end up with a drive depending on where you go. Many businesses are downtown or on the north or westsides and there are a lot of inventory/warehouse businesses in the suburbs. Can you search within your area and see what full/part options there are and broaden your search that way?
I just applied for a floral designer position
It seems like fun and I took a flower arranging course in the past and enjoyed it (I guess it goes along with the graphic design/visual thing)
Not going to Canada
My sister and her family are moving back early... kinda of a long story but looks like WM Corp is closing the Sams in all of Canada.. No idea what we are doing for our anniversary trip now but glad they are coming back to the states... so not a total gripe 
Otherwise just a craptastic week that I am glad is over and was followed by a fantastic weekend with friends!
