Weekend Plans
What's everyone up to this weekend?
Me:
Friday - My first Friday in almost a year without work. And guess what? I'm not doing a damn thing - lol!
Saturday - Perhaps K and I will catch a movie and run some errands.
Sunday - cleaning.

i don't know of anything going on tonight. i'm guessing we'll go through and clean up the bathroom to get it ready for painting, which will happen tomorrow, but other than that we'll probably just hang out and make burritos--which we were supposed to have last night but i ended up staying over two hours at work. by the time i got home we were both starving and i was exhausted so we made a frozen pizza instead.
i also have to go take my second midterm for my math class tomorrow, and i really need to work on my portfolio because i'm behind (or at least i feel like i am). tomorrow night we're going to meet up with a good friend of mine who moved out of town. i'm looking forward to seeing her, and i'll get to see some other folks that i haven't in a while.
sunday we're driving two hours to see an art gallery opening of her cousin's work, and then driving back home again. her sister is probably going to ride with us (or vice versa) and her parents are going as well. we haven't seen her cousin in a while, either, and he's awesome so it should be a fun trip.
I'm not sure, but this will be my last weekend unemployed, b/c I got a new job! It's a higher payrate than what I was making, and all is good!
I think we'll play rock band @ somepoint, and probably have some drinks.

Tonight: pack, clean, errands, meet w/ BFF and visiting friend for dinner
Tomorrow: wake up early, finish up loose ends at the office, make sure everything is in order at the house, drop lilly at grandma and grandpa's, possibly make a quick stop at a friend's party, then drive 2 1/2 hrs down to Newark and check into hotel.
Sunday: wake up early again for our 7am flight, arrive in FL, check into the cruise, and vacation begins!!!

Tonight we'll go out to dinner with one of L's birthday coupons.
Tomorrow L is going to study all morning, so the kids and I are going to make chocolate dipped strawberries for L's birthday (and apparently we are also making cupcakes according to the kids this morning!) I'll take them to Gymboree and then home for a nap. I'll clean while they nap. In the afternoon, their godfather is coming over to babysit while L and I go see a movie - hopefully we'll see The Reader.
Sunday L will study in the AM while I take the kids to do some errands and finish cleaning - or if I am really lucky, she'll take them to the gym to play and she'll study from the cafe at the gym while I am home alone finishing up the cleaning! After their nap, we are going to one of L's favorite restaurants and then have cupcakes and strawberries at home (complete with Tinkerbell plates and Elmo hats picked out by the kids!) Should be festive!

Tomorrow morning is a trip to Ikea...yay! I love that store. Then we have a college graduation party for a friend at an Irish pub. Too bad I can't raise a pint in her honor.
Sunday is going to be spent working on the house, somehow this week it has started to look like a disaser zone. I guess my extra napping is starting to catch up with my life!
2birdes- Let me know what you thought of The Reader, I can't decide if I want to see it or not.... and I want a cupcake on a Tinkerbell plate!
rikkiandjulie- Congrats on the new job and the pay raise. Great when life turns out like that.

Elise - Have a great cruise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nothing planned for the weekend here. We've been keeping our spending low-key while I'm unemployed. We'll probably go out to eat once (okay, and get take-out once too....), and just hang out at home together. I love laid back weekends!

Not doing much tonight, maybe go out and do a little shopping for some clothes I desperately need (and so does my baby). Then, its home to study for an exam we have tomorrow morning. Tomorrow we are going to class bright and early, then coming home to clean up the house. After the house is all clean, we might go to the laundry mat to do some laundry because we have fallen behind with school and the kids
I hate laundry and I swear it is a never ending job!!! After that is all done we are relaxing and having a nice night with just the two of us. Sunday we have our landlords coming over to put a door onto Allies room (it started out as a playroom because both the girls wanted to share a room, however, that didn't work out as planned considering they kept each other up all night lol. So, we ended up splitting them up and giving Allie her own room like Kenzie). After they leave we are going to do some homework for Monday's class and then wait for the girls to get home from daddy's house at 8pm. Then it's L Word and Desperate Housewives! I love DVR 
We would be lost without it in our house lol.
I hope everyone has a GREAT weekend! I am sooooooo jealous of the cruise, Elise!!! Have a cocktail for me!
Friday - Well I just got up and its 4pm here.... the new foster is making E and I sleep in shifts lol. So my friend that fosters too is coming over to help with shots with him (he is pretty sick). Then dinner and WoW if it will EVER connect! +sleep around 2 or 3am.
Saturday - We have to go trap 2 feral kitties and drop off with a friend who independent rescues. Then I have work. Then home and dinner, WoW, probably a few movies. Oh and pay rent lol.
Sunday - AM grocery shopping, weekly tidying up, probably mop and vacuum. Oh and I think I might set up my 2nd of 5 fish tanks lol.
