okay, so i've been looking into these cake decorating classes. my best friend said she would really like to take it, too. both places by my house offer the class on tuesday nights, which i can't do in march. there's a place right by her work that offers them on mondays, so i could go meet up with her when we both get done at work, we could have dinner, go to the class and then head home. the bad part about this plan is that (1) i would not ahve time to go home in between, so i'd have to bring my cake and everything with me to work, and (2) we'd be going out to eat every monday.
i found out today that there's another place by her work that offers the class on thursdays in march, and it starts 30 minutes later than the other place. she doesn't work on thursdays so it would mean an extra trip out there for her, but i'd have time to go home in between work and class to eat dinner and get my cake and supplies. i met the teacher and she seems really nice, and so far there's only one other person signed up. she said there's a 4-person minimum, but she was sure she could get someone else to take it and it would probably mean a smaller class size than the other place. the big thing, though, is that it also means we'd have the last class on my birthday and i'm not sure i want to do that. my friend said she really doesn't care either way.
