I was in labor and delivery all night :(!

Long story short, there was a bathroom at work that had been freshly mopped with no posted signs, cones, indication..... and I slipped and fell.  I started to have contractions so the hospital kept me over night.  Luckily I was released so I'm back at home recuperating (ie sleeping off and on).  Atleast now I don't have to take the maternity ward tour. I know where everything is!

OMG! I am so glad you are ok! But you REALLY need to complain! That is a lawsuit waiting to happen! And if something were to have happened to you or the baby...uggh, I can't even think about it, I am just glad you are safe! Being in L&D SUCKS, I am so sorry you had to stay. Take care of yourself!

That is ridiculous that they didn't have signs up. That's a huge liability on their part! Glad to hear you are ok though!

Yeah, I'm pretty upset.  The custodian claimed he couldn't find the sign, but it magically appeared outside the door once my boss demanded he put one up.

Thanks ladies!    My little ninja is still kicking/headbutting/elbowing so all looks well.  I have an appt with my OB next week so I'll get checked out then too.

OMG! That is so scary, Tameka.  That is one of my worst nightmares.  When it rains, our hallways are alwaws slippery, and in the past I almost slipped a few times.  I am glad to hear you and your baby are ok.  Hope you get some rest.
