Sad Story :(
Even though Birmingham City Schools is a large district news travels fast...My mom called to tell me that a teacher was killed in a car accident during the horrible rain we had today. Her car hydroplaned. She was on her way to make testing materials to the testing office. The worst part is that the person who was supposed to be taking the materials was not available so the principal asked her to stand in. She was married and had three kids: 3, 11, 17.
I did not know her but this story really touched me...both the principal who asked her to go and the testing coordinator are really torn up about this...please keep them in your prayers and be safe in your daily travels.
