Auburn gals: Guthries is closing!

I heard that they are going to close all the Guthrie's here....I don't go there much now but did in college when that was the only place to get chicken fingers...I hate to hear about businesses closing.

The one by WTs is already closed.  Those kids who worked in that one were so rude.  We always joked that they were high on something because they kept the weirdest hours.

We use to eat at the one in WT's all of the time since it was right by our house.  But since it closed we haven't eaten at Guthries which is a good thing.

They closed the one here in Huntsville on University. I was so hurt even though it wasn't that great. Then Rooster's close. My poor heart can't take anymore.

I hate to hear that too.  It didn't last long when it was in Tallahassee. 

I think people are trying to eat healthier and as a result a place like Guthrie's doesn't last.  They tried adding grilled chicken but guess that didn't help.  The only time I go is when we get it for our tailgate.

Very sad.

I just feel like the ones here have been FOREVER...I guess not though...just as long as I can remember. I honestly couldn't tell you the last time I ate at Guthries...maybe a few years ago when I was at EastChase in Montgomery. We usually go to JimBob's or Chick-fil-A when we just have to have some chicken fingers. I like the grilled ones at JimBob's.

Yes! They are good! My downfall at JimBob's is that they have a plate where you can get grilled fingers and 3 cheese sticks. I can pass up the fried fingers most every time but always fall for the cheese sticks. We can't go there often. Their salads are good too!

I am glad they have one across from TigerTown...it's only about 5-6 minutes away from our house.
