Frustration

I need to vent, sorry. ?On top of not being paid any over time I have worked, they really screwed up my schedule. ?For example on Tuesday ( I wrote 3-11 OK), they scheduled me for 7-3, I can't be there because I have an interview (HEHE). When I called yesterday (Fri) to get my schedule the guy told me I was working 3-11 on Tues, ( I was trying to get out of that as well becuase I have to take J to get his orthotics tweaked.) then he wrote on the schedule book that I can't work on Sunday 3-11, when I went in today I checked part of it but forgot to check the rest. ?I have to do that tomorrow. Great Just great.

I am interviewing at Monterey Park hospital, they don't have any days shifts open but the DON told me to come in for an interview that way she could just offer me the job when there is an opening. ?She does however have an opening in nights. ?My Dh told me just to take the nights and ask if I can be switched to days as soon as there is an opening, so I can stop working for this place that doesn't pay any overtime even if you do stay. ?I guess they want you to gift them with your work!!!

I have to write a letter to the administrator. ?I am going to ask for my overtime pay, it is not like I am milking the clock, I am busting my ass trying to get faster so I don't have to stay, but like today, I had to pass meds for 30, yes 30 patients and do charting for 15. I really don't think this place is for me, but I am happy to have a job. ?When I went to work I put the whole overtime thing out of my head and just concentrated on doing my job and trying to get it done quickly.

Thanks for reading, and thanks for listening. ?It is probably just a bunch of mumbles.?

Re: Frustration

  • My Frustration has eased - I fixed my schedule, swapped a couple of days and had to give up one day, and utilize my sister as a baby sitter more than I wanted to but it has all worked out.

I also left work just about on time today!?
