How was your weekend?

Did you do anything exciting or go anywhere exciting?

Mine was alright.  My Saturday was pretty good.  Got up at 6:30 with Rachel.  DH got up and made me some breakfast, so that was nice.  Then I had to go to work for a while.  When I got home, Rachel and I went to my parents and hung out there for most of the evening.

Sunday was pretty uneventful.  Rachel and I went to Babies R Us to get some things.  I got her 1st b-day invitations done too.  Not that many though - just inviting our families.

How 'bout you?

Sorry, this board has just been REALLY slow lately, so anything I can do to help move things along.....

Re: How was your weekend?

  • I'll play along! Big Smile

Friday night DH and I went and bought a Riccar vacuum. I'm entirely TOO excited about having a good canister vac again. I hate hate hate upright bagless and that's all I've been able to afford for awhile!

Saturday DH helped a friend move to Harrisburg (said friend bought a house), and I ran errands, cleaned, etc. We went to a little local place for dinner, and then just lounged around all evening.

Sunday I went to a CAbi party. It's amazing how much fun buying really expensive clothing the same way you used to buy Tupperware, can be. Had a blast at that, then came home and did a trial run of Irish Cream Brownies in advance of St. Patty's day -- they were very tasty!

  • My weekend was good.  Way too short and too much school work.  But we had a great Saturday and went to Little Italy.

  • Stacey ~ Little Italy sounds fun! I haven't been there since this past fall when I did a wedding. DH and I like it there, yummy food too.

We had a really busy weekend. Friday was my birthday, but we celebrated low key, just the two of us over a movie, wine and takeout. Saturday night we celebrated with some friends and went to Bonefish. Yum!

Yesterday, unfortunately, I think I spent close to 14 hours at the computer writing a case study report for my masters class. Thank goodness I had off today and could finish...27 single spaced pages later. And this was just one of the many papers this semester : (

  • DH had to work on Saturday, the 3rd one in a row :o( so I went to my mom's house for a birthday dinner for my aunts by myself.  DH got home around 7:30pm and was exhausted from all the hours he put in this past week, so we just relaxed and watched tv.

Sunday - DH slept in, trying to catch up on some sleep.  I did laundry, dishes and some cleaning...boring!  Later in the evening, DH went to a movie with one of his friends and I went to bed.

Woke up to 6-8 inches of snow...what a way to end a crappy weekend!

I hope next weekend is better and no more snow!!!

  • Saturday was DH's bday so we celebrated on Saturday, and Sunday we went duck pin bowling with ILs and my parents for his bday. It was fun!
