So now that the Bar is over and I have decided not to go back to my old job (mainly because they are moving downtown) I am in the process of finding a new job.
It's tricky because I'm not yet an attorney, but I hopefully will be come May 15, so positions are limited.
Does anyone know of any good firms that are looking for a law clerk/Paralegal? (luckily while I was attending law school I also worked full time as a Paralegal, so I at least have some experience).
TIA

Re: Job Hunting...
I used to work in firms in LA and lately, I have not been hearing good news. A lot of attorneys are applying for paralegal jobs bc there arent any opps.
Try Craigslist, MaturaFarrington.com, and try going directly to the firm website. I amnot really big into headhunters bc I feel like they are carsalesmen and dont really care where I am placed as long as they get paid. Good luck to you!
I'm crossing my fingers for your results!
It's tough out there these days, but if you're looking for a paralegal job, I'd hunt around on Craig's List and be willing to drive a bit for the right position. There are tons of postings on there. I agree with PP, the headhunters may not be worth your time. Good luck and let us know when you land something.
