Flying out of BNA on a Saturday.

Hey ladies!

I am leaving on Sat to head to Floridia.  I have never flown out of BNA on the weekend.  I was curious on how busy it is and how long before my flight I should arrive.  I know flying on Sats are typicaly busier at other airports.  TIA.

i always get there about 2 hours before my flight just to be safe, no matter what day of the week it is. when flying on Saturdays we haven't had any issues with busy-ness on the way out, but when flying in our luggage always takes forever!

They have redone the security screening recently.  Since then, it moves so fast!!!  I would say you don't need more than 1.5 hours...if that.  Even on a Sat.

I usually get there about an hour before I take off -- I usually check in online, though.

You'll have plenty of time if you get there 1 1/2 hours before your flight. It's really small and the security line is never that busy.

The last time we flew was November, but we have been flying out of BNA 3-4 times a year for the past 3 years and it is SOOOO fast! We've never had more than a 5-10 minute wait to go through security and the airport is so tiny that once you're in, it doesn't take long to get to any gate. We always print our boarding passes before though which saves a little time.  I'd say if you got there an hour to an hour and a half before your flight you'd have plenty of time.

Shoot, I can't remember the last time I got there with more than 45 minutes to spare. Never missed a flight. Knock on wood!
