Today's Question: 3/2 - better late than never
Hey ladies, sorry I'm late on the question today. We didn't have electricity or internet all day.
How did you spend your snow day?
Re: Today's Question: 3/2 - better late than never
I slept in and had to go into to work at 10am. Not bad. By the time I got home most of the snow was gone, I didn't even get to take any pictures.
Our electricity went out around 6:45 pm on 3/1. We spent all evening in the dark, nearly setting our home on fire trying to make nachos over tealight candles.
It was super cold (I had no idea gas heat would do us no good in a power outage!!) Monday morning I went to my cousins house since they had power, and spent the morning playing in the snow with their little girl, then took a nap and got in some good reading. (Their cable and internet were out.)
It was a fantastic day. I love the SC snow day! It's so different from when it snows up-north.
We spent Sunday evening outside w/ our neighbors and their kids. I helped the kids build a snowman-that now resembles jabba the hut or possibly slimer from ghost busters more than a snowman, and we really had a GREAT time. Yesterday we watched movies and played with the pups-our smallest pup is just barely taller than the 4 inches that were in our backyard, so it was really funny!!!
Hope you all have a great-warm-day!!!
